  • Travelers must have a local covid-19 travel insurance cover or a travel insurance policy of 50000 dollars for at least a month.
  • People who are taking the arrival PCR test with their money don’t need to give the PCR test. The fee is 40 USD per test.
  • Kids under the age of 2 do not require the PCR test unless their parents’ or guardians’ report is positive.
  • Tourists can visit approved tourist spots. However, they must have their bio-bubble with them at all times.

  • The number of flights going to or from India-Sri Lanka will increase from the 1st of September in 2021.
  • One must get a permit from the ministry of foreign affairs or civil aviation authority of Sri Lanka for travel before going to Sri Lanka.
  • Tourists can stay for an unlimited time in Sri Lankan hotels. They will also get all hotel facilities, and quarantine is not required either.
  • Travelers must have a legal visa. They can apply online from eta.gov.Lk.
